Every year, there are multiple states that offer big game raffle tags. These tags are another way for a hunter to get their name in a drawing. Most of these tags have extended seasons and are good statewide. If you are feeling lucky or just want another chance at drawing a tag-of-a-lifetime, buying or applying for these raffle tags is a great opportunity. Money raised through the sale of tickets is used to help with wildlife management. If you have any questions about these raffle tags, give us a call at 435-865-1020.
If you are lucky enough to draw one of these great permits, you will be blessed with an almost statewide permit with a 365-day season. It doesn’t get much better than that! For more information, go to
www.conservationfirstusa.org. You must be present in the state of Arizona when purchasing raffle tickets. There are now two separate drawings for raffles for 2026 tags. Visit the Conservation First website for more information and deadlines.
Each year, Colorado issues auction and raffle permits to different organizations to generate revenue. Organizations retain up to 25% of the gross proceeds at the auctions to cover the cost and fund projects. The current organizations’ contracts will remain the same through 2026. For prices and location information, go to https://cpw.state.co.us/hunting/big-game/auction-and-raffle-licenses.

Each year, New Mexico gives enhancement licenses to different organizations to either auction or raffle off. Each drawing is completed by a different organization, so prices and deadlines will differ. Once the organizations are identified, the information on prices and locations will be updated at www.wildlife.state.nm.us/hunting/applications-and-draw-information/enhancement-hunts/.
