DESCRIPTION:

This HFA Endorsed Outfitter has a family owned and operated business by a family that has lived in Wyoming their entire lives. Going on almost 20 years guiding in this area, this outfitter now owns and operates 4 different camps in Western Wyoming. This area is home to a large population of elk, moose, bear, and mountain lion. Their tent camp is very clean and well organized with wood stoves, new cots, real shower stall and excellent meals. The Wyoming Outfitter Board gave this camp the best rating they can give. They have special bred horses that are sure-footed, as well as strong and gentle. All tack and equipment is well maintained, and their guides are dedicated and experienced, and they will give you 100%.

ARCHERY:
These hunts are very action packed. majority of their archery hunters have multiple encounter with multiple bulls each day. They locate a lot of bulls bugling in the dark timber, or spot their herds in open parks and aspens. They love the challenge of working through the satellite bulls and cows trying to get a shot at the herd bull.(easier said than done)

RIFLE:
These hunts are later in the fall when majority of the bulls are done rutting. A lot of the bulls pull back up to higher elevation and bachelor back up. This makes for a fun hunt on horseback when you can spot a lot of bulls from a distance, and make plan and execute the stalk. These hunts are high success!

OVERVIEW:
The general season hunts are an awesome hunt with high success. This hunt has high success on 260"-300" class bulls. There are some bigger 330" plus bulls in the unit but are fewer in numbers. The elk population is really good in the general units but just lack the older age-class bulls. This is an extremely fun hunt in some of the most beautiful country the state has to offer. They hunt both archery and rifle on these hunts.

All of these hunts are on horseback. You will start at a drive to wall tent camp and use horses each day to access different areas. They have a full time cook with all you can eat meals. Don’t hesitate at this hunt cause it’s a general tag, it is an extremely fun hunt with high success.

It is suggested that you be in the best physical shape possible, for this is very rugged and strenuous country with elevations from 8,500 - 11,000 ft.
