This wilderness fishing camp is located 8 miles up the South Fork of the Shoshone River, 30 miles from the town of Cody, Wyoming. The fishing camp is equipped with top of the line wall tents with flooring, cots, wood stoves, and a hot water showers. The chefs prepare three meals a day in the large cooking and dining tent. This is a pack in trip so all gear and people travel in and out of the wilderness 3 hours with horses and mules to reach prime fishing opportunities. Walking distance from camp, the river holds native Yellowstone cutthroat, brook trout, as well as big brown trout. These trips are conducted late August through the month of September when dry flies are the favorite pattern. Wilderness fishing trips are five days in total which includes two days of travel and three full days of guided or self guided wade fishing. This camp can accommodate groups of up to 12 per week. This is not only a tremendous fishing trip, but an opportunity to experience some of the most pristine waters and wilderness in the lower 48.
