Whether you are an experienced outdoorsman or a first-time hunter, this outfitter is dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience. They operate on several well managed Private Ranches in Western & Central Montana, as well as offer public land hunts in the Bitterroot National Forest! Whether you are looking to go on your first ever elk hunt, just to get your feet wet with Western Hunting or are an experienced outdoorsman, they can help assist in getting your next Montana hunt setup!

They have access to nearly 50,000 acres that make up three ranches in central Montana. These specific hunts offers an amazing western hunting experience, without the competition of hunting on public land. Each year they take on a limited number of hunters to maintain both a quality animal and experience for the hunters in camp! This can be a very rewarding but physically demanding hunt, if you show up in good shape and have practiced with your weapon, then that will significantly increase your odds of success of your tag & freezer. They utilize 4x4's to reach starting points each morning, from there we will head out for the day on foot. You will typically come back to “Cook Camp” for late breakfast / early lunch, where you will hang out mid day or you may pack a lunch and spend the day on the mountain. However things can vary from day to day depending on weather and hunting conditions. During the archery hunts, most of the hunters that are presented with shot opportunities, are at averaged size but respectable bulls that will typically score 250 - 280”, however there is always a possibility of hunting larger 280 - 320+ bulls but they are not around every tree. During the rifle hunts they will target more specific mature bulls that are wintering on the property. They focus their efforts on only taking mature 5 and 6 point bulls that range from 260 - 300” on average but it’s not uncommon to be hunting 310 - 320+ bulls. The rifle hunt is a spot and stalk style and you can expect to start most mornings glassing from high vantage points. Hunters should expect to shoot 200-500 yards.

This area does require a general draw and Huntin Fool's License Application Service will apply you for this tag to at the time of application ($65).
