HUNT DETAILS:
These Idaho mule deer hunts take place on carefully managed private ranche that receive very little hunting pressure, creating excellent opportunities for mature trophy-class bucks. Hunters can expect a traditional mule deer hunt focused on glassing, spot-and-stalk hunting, and pursuing quality deer in rich habitat. The ranch consistently produces bucks exceeding 170 inches, with several deer each year pushing or surpassing the 200-inch mark. To maintain the quality of the hunt and ensure proper management of the deer herd, very few hunters are allowed on the ranch per season. With Idaho’s updated draw system, tags can be competitive, though the outfitter receives a limited number of allocated tags that may help hunters secure an opportunity without relying solely on the draw. Combined with experienced guides, low-pressure private land, and exceptional trophy potential, these hunts offer a premium mule deer experience in some of Idaho’s best deer country.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations for these Idaho hunts are off site approximately 20 minutes from the ranch, providing hunters with a relaxing place to unwind after long days in the field. The house or cabins offer all the comforts needed for an enjoyable stay, including comfortable bedrooms, modern amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Hunters can expect hearty meals, experienced guides, and great amenities making the overall experience as enjoyable as the hunt itself. Clients are also welcome to rent an airbnb if they would prefer to arrange their own accommodations.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Idaho allocates permits through a random draw with no points system. Applications are due throughout the spring with exact deadlines dependent on species. Tags left over after the first drawing will go into a second drawing, which takes place in the summer. Huntin' Fool's License Application team will help you apply at the time of application. In some cases, outfitter allocated tags are provided by the outfitter if purchasing a hunt.
