ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA-endorsed outfitter was built from the ground up by experienced western guides and sportsmen with extensive knowledge of big game hunting throughout Oregon, Utah, and Idaho. Offering hunts across some of the most scenic and rugged terrain in the West, the outfitter focuses on creating memorable adventures while providing quality hunting opportunities for every client. In addition to public land hunts, they also offer access to private ranches that provide excellent free-range hunting experiences along with allocated tags for most available species. With a strong background in western hunting and a commitment to customer experience, the outfitter works hard to help hunters enjoy successful and rewarding trips in some of the West’s best hunting country. Whether staying in one of their many cabins, hunting from the main lodge, or relaxing in a local Airbnb, hunters can expect excellent hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and a high level of customer service throughout the trip. With high success rates for all their hunts, quality animals, and many years in operation, their hunts are highly desired and fill up quick.

HUNT DETAILS:
These Utah elk hunts offer hunters a variety of opportunities ranging from general season bulls to premium limited-entry trophy bull hunts on private land. General season hunts take place in productive elk country with guaranteed tags and access to private ground that receives moderate hunting pressure while still producing quality bulls in the 260–320 inch range each year. Hunts are available during archery, youth rifle, general rifle, and muzzleloader seasons, giving hunters multiple opportunities throughout the fall to pursue elk with experienced guides who know the unit and elk movement patterns well. Terrain and physical difficulty on these hunts are considered moderate, making them accessible to a wide range of hunters. In addition to general season hunts, a limited number of premium trophy bull hunts are also offered annually in Utah’s limited-entry units, where bulls exceeding 340 inches are commonly taken. These highly sought-after hunts are available to hunters with existing Utah points, while occasional auction or transferable tag opportunities may also be available for hunters seeking a premier trophy elk experience on private land.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations for these Utah deer and elk hunts are based around comfortable private ranch lodging designed to provide hunters with a relaxing and enjoyable stay after long days in the field. Hunters can expect quality onsite lodging with comfortable beds, hot meals, and guide services all included throughout the hunt. Meals are home-style and hearty, giving hunters a good start each morning and a warm meal to return to each evening after hunting the ranches and surrounding country. The outfitter places a strong focus on hospitality and customer experience, creating a laid-back camp atmosphere where hunters can relax, share stories from the day, and prepare for the next hunt.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Utah has bonus and preference point systems for limited-entry species and general season deer. Bonus points increase draw chances, while preference points favor applicants with the most points. Group applicants’ points are averaged. Unsuccessful applicants get a point annually, and points are species-specific, non-transferable, and can be purchased. Huntin’ Fool’s License Application team will help you apply at the time of application.
