ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA-endorsed outfitter was built from the ground up by experienced western guides and sportsmen with extensive knowledge of big game hunting throughout Oregon, Utah, and Idaho. Offering hunts across some of the most scenic and rugged terrain in the West, the outfitter focuses on creating memorable adventures while providing quality hunting opportunities for every client. In addition to public land hunts, they also offer access to private ranches that provide excellent free-range hunting experiences along with allocated tags for most available species. With a strong background in western hunting and a commitment to customer experience, the outfitter works hard to help hunters enjoy successful and rewarding trips in some of the West’s best hunting country. Whether staying in one of their many cabins, hunting from the main lodge, or relaxing in a local Airbnb, hunters can expect excellent hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and a high level of customer service throughout the trip. With high success rates for all their hunts, quality animals, and many years in operation, their hunts are highly desired and fill up quick.

HUNT DETAILS:
These Idaho elk hunts take place on a private ranch managed to provide a quality hunting experience with limited pressure and strong opportunities throughout the season. Focused primarily on rut hunting, these hunts offer exciting calling action, spot-and-stalk opportunities, and consistent encounters with elk that receive far less pressure than their public land counterparts. Hunters can expect opportunities at bulls averaging 260–310 inches, with archery and rifle hunts producing very high opportunity rates. The ranch consists of productive elk habitat including pine forests, aspen groves, oak brush, and agricultural fields that keep elk concentrated throughout the fall. Archery hunters should be prepared for moderate physical demands, as pursuing rutting bulls can require covering ground and taking advantage of opportunities as they develop. With only a limited number of hunters allowed each season, experienced guides, and a comfortable private-land setting, these hunts provide an affordable and action-packed western elk hunting experience.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations for these Idaho hunts are off site approximately 20 minutes from the ranch, providing hunters with a relaxing place to unwind after long days in the field. The house or cabins offer all the comforts needed for an enjoyable stay, including comfortable bedrooms, modern amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Hunters can expect hearty meals, experienced guides, and great amenities making the overall experience as enjoyable as the hunt itself. Clients are also welcome to rent an airbnb if they would prefer to arrange their own accommodations.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Idaho allocates permits through a random draw with no points system. Applications are due throughout the spring with exact deadlines dependent on species. Tags left over after the first drawing will go into a second drawing, which takes place in the summer. Huntin' Fool's License Application team will help you apply at the time of application. In some cases, outfitter allocated tags are provided by the outfitter if purchasing a hunt.
