This HFA-Endorsed Outfitter has been in operation since 1982 and is run by a Wyoming family now in its fifth generation in the state. That kind of history brings a working knowledge of the country and the animals that live on it, and it shapes how the guides approach each hunt. The operation is based in Wyoming and pursues mule deer, elk, antelope, Shiras moose, and mountain lion. Both fully guided and outfitted packages and unguided do-it-yourself drop camp options are available, so hunters can choose the level of support that fits how they want to hunt. Decades of working the same ground give the guides a depth of familiarity that is difficult to match.

HUNT DETAILS:
Mule deer hunts with this outfitter take place on limited-entry ground, and nearly all of the hunting happens on public land. Rather than concentrating hunters in one drainage, the outfitter spreads groups across many different areas, which keeps the number of hunters working any single piece of country low. That approach shows in the deer. Pressure stays light, bucks are allowed to reach maturity, and the trophy quality in these units holds up well as a result. Hunters are guided throughout, and the guides bring long familiarity with the ground they work and with where the better bucks tend to live. A hunt is considered complete on the day the animal is harvested, so hunters should be ready to capitalize when a good buck presents itself rather than passing early and hoping for something better. ACCOMMODATIONS:
The outfitter covers the logistics on this hunt. Guide service is included, along with lunches and beverages in the field each day and the conservation stamp. Transportation is handled from the moment hunters land, with pickup and drop-off at the airport at the start and end of the trip, and runs to the local meat processing plant and to the taxidermist once an animal is down. That means hunters can fly in without arranging a rental vehicle or sorting out game care themselves, and can keep their attention on hunting for the length of the stay.
