Raffle #1 - British Columbia Stone Sheep

Hunt Stone Sheep this year! Heidi Gutfrucht of Northwest Ranching and Outfitting has a long history of being one of the top Stone Sheep outfitters in North America. She only takes six Stone Sheep hunters annually and typically has a waiting list of clients wanting her next opening. We pre-purchased two of her 2008 Stone Sheep hunts. We gave one away in May during our annual Membership Drive, and this is the second. The hunt is valued at $33,000! Arrive in Deason Lake September 1, 2008 and depart September 15, 2008. This hunt is conducted in northern British Columbia and utilizes horses. On this 1x1 hunt there will only be two hunters in camp. The winner will be responsible for all tips, taxes, licenses, and airfare. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #2 - Alaska Brown Bear

Hunt the giant Brown Bears of Alaska with our long time endorsed outfitter, Larry Benda. Larry is widely known as a no nonsense, hard hunting outfitter that runs extremely high success on quality Brown Bears. We purchased one of Larry’s Brown bear hunts for the annual Membership Drive and then purchased his next opening, this hunt, for the summer membership drive. It has a value of $10,000. This hunt is for October 16-27, 2009. Arrive October 15th and depart October 29th. If you want a huge Brown Bear this is your hunt. The winner will be responsible for all tips, licenses, and airfare. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #3 - Alaska Dall Sheep

Chris Zwolinski, has guided Dall Sheep hunters on the south slope of the Brooks Range in Alaska for about 20 years. He does 100% of the guiding himself and takes a maximum of four Dall Sheep hunters a year. Garth took his first Dall Sheep with Chris and had an unforgettable hunt. This $10,000 hunt is booked for September 1-8, 2008. These are great dates to hunt big Sheep! Chris has a long waiting list of clients yet has been good enough to reserve two of his four Dall sheep hunts this year for The Huntin’ Fool—we gave one away in April and this is the other. The winner will be responsible for all tips, licenses, and airfare. This Dall sheep hunt has your name on it. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #4 - Mexico Mule Deer

Mexico Mule Deer hunting is as good or better than it has ever been and January 16-23, 2009 are prime dates to hunt Mule deer for this upcoming season. We purchased this prime rut Mule Deer hunt for one of our memebers from our endorsed outfitter Marco Fonseca. Jason and Garth Carter both killed 31" deer with Marco in 2008! This hunt is worth $8,500 and may be your best chance to take a 200" plus buck this year. Fly into Hermosillo, Mexico January 15th and out January 24th. If you wish to hunt Coues Whitetail Deer after you harvest your Mule Deer, you can on a trophy fee basis. The winner will be responsible for all tips, licenses, airfare, and gun permits. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #5 - New Mexico Elk -with Garth Carter

Garth Carter hunted New Mexico’s Elk unit 17 last year with outfitter, Carl Montoya. After taking a giant 384, 7x7 on the opening day of the muzzleloader hunt, he immediately booked two openings for the first muzzleloader season, October 11-15, 2008 with Carl. One for you and the other for himself. This $7,500 hunt includes a landowner tag, 1x1 guide service as well as food and lodging and a chance to take a giant bull. The winner will be responsible for transportation, licenses, and tips. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #6 - Arizona Mule Deer -with Jason Carter

The Kaibab Piute Indian Reservation in Arizona is adjacent to the famous Arizona Strip! This reservation offers only a few Mule Deer hunts for non-tribal members each year. Typically you must be on a long waiting list to be one of the lucky hunters to be allowed to hunt. We have secured two spots for November of 2008, one for you and the other for Huntin’ Fool staff member, Jason Carter. This is a great opportunity to hunt the reservation this fall during prime rut. Guide service will be provided, but the winner will be responsible for food, lodging, transportation, licenses, and tips. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #7 - Colorado Mule Deer -with John Petersen

Almost everyone wants a unit 44 Mule Deer tag in Colorado especially when it’s on one of the best Mule deer ranches in the unit! The Huntin’ Fool’s Art Director, John Petersen, hunted this ranch in unit 44 last year, taking a great 190 B&C buck. This year he wants to go back and take a member along with him (that’s you). This is a non-guided hunt and includes a landowner tag, 5 days of hunting and accomodations. You will be hunting November 3-7, 2008. The chance to stay at and hunt this ranch is a $6,500 value! The winner will be responsible for transportation and license fees. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #8 - Utah Mountain Lion

Endorsed outfitter and personal friend, Josh Horrocks, of Vernal, Utah has never had an unsuccessful paid Mountain Lion client, including Garth Carter this past December. Garth hunted half a day before taking a big Mountain Lion with Josh! We want you kill one of these big Lions with Josh in northeastern Utah on his family’s large private ranch. Hunt dates will be flexible as Josh will want to call you when conditions are prime. Enter this raffle if your schedule is flexible. This is a $4,000 hunt and the winner is responsible for transportation, license fees, and tips. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #9 - Kansas Whitetail

We have booked a spot for the lucky winner of this Kansas archery Whitetail Deer hunt with endorsed outfitter, Jerry Meacham. If you need to check out Jerry’s credentials, check the cover of this magazine, that’s Huntin’ Fool member, Dwight Wolf, who killed this Whitetail with Jerry last fall (see page 84 for the full story). This hunt will be for the fall of 2009 during prime rut, so you’ll have time to practice your archery skills. Food, lodging, and guide service are included. This hunt is valued at $3,500 and the winner is responsible for transportation, license fees, and tips. This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #10 - New Mexico Antelope

New Mexico is known as the best state for trophy Antelope that offers guaranteed tags. We have been working with endorsed outfitter, Jack Huntley, for many years. He has taken countless Huntin’ Fool members to great scoring Antelope—now it’s your turn. This trophy Antelope hunt is valued at $3,000 and hunt dates are September 13-14, 2008 on a private ranch with a guaranteed landowner tag and fully guided by Jack and his crew. The winner is responsible for transportation, license fees, and tips. If you’re looking for a trophy Antelope, here’s your chance! This is a transferable hunt!

Raffle #11 - 1,000 Yard Rifle/Shooting Course

When you see Garth or Jason Carter a field on a rifle big game hunt, you will notice a couple things.
