CRISPI BRIKSDAL PRO GTX

This mountain worthy boot is comparatively lightweight and is constructed with the highest-quality Nubuck leather on the market. The full surround rubber rand helps to keep the leather from being cut when you find yourself sidehilling in shale or steep, rocky terrain. As with most of Crispi’s boots, the Briksdal Pro is 100% waterproof thanks to the full surround Gore-Tex® bootie, making this hunting boot a must have for anyone hunting in extreme or technical terrain. This model sports a 10" tall boot with the Briksdal lower we have come to love.

“I’ve worn Crispi boots for a few years now while guiding in Alaska and Arizona. Once I found the original Briksdal model, I fell in love with the fit and function of the boot. Even though I always hike with trekking poles, I still prefer a stiffer lower boot that helps my ankle remain stable in uneven, loose terrain. The only downside to the original Briksdals was the overall height that seemed too short for me while crossing small creeks and getting on and off boats.

When the Briksdal Pro model was released last year, I knew it was the answer to my dreams! My feet are already broken into the Crispi footbed style, so I took the boots immediately to Alaska to guide back-to-back Dall sheep, grizzly bear, and mountain goat hunts. After living in the boots for five weeks straight, I knew this was the exact boot that was up to the task. Having that stiff lower shelf makes climbing and descending safe and easy, allowing me to focus on carrying the heavy backpack load and conserving energy. If you hunt in the mountains, I’d give this Pro model a try this next season.” – Austin Atkinson, Hunt Advisor
