ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter has been successfully guiding clients in Alaska for several years. They operate in prime areas of the Wrangell Mountains and the Copper River region, offering hunts for brown bear, black bear, mountain goat, moose, and Dall sheep. Their team of experienced guides is dedicated to making every hunt as successful as possible for each client.

HUNT DETAILS:
These baited brown bear and black bear combo hunts are based out of Copper Center, Alaska. These 10-day hunts give clients ample time to pursue and potentially harvest both species during the trip. Hunting is primarily conducted from tree stands over bait sites, with occasional spot-and-stalk opportunities along the riverbanks.

Brown bears in this area typically average 8 to 8.5 feet, with the occasional 9+ foot bear harvested. Black bears average over 6 feet, and the area holds a very high population of both species.

Mornings are usually spent at the lodge, fishing or refreshing bait sites. Hunters typically head to their stands around midday and sit through the evening hours. This is a great hunt for both archery and rifle hunters, and most clients can expect to see multiple bears during a single sit.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Clients stay in a riverfront Alaska fishing lodge overlooking the Klutina River, near Wrangell–St. Elias National Park—an ideal basecamp for hunting trips and outdoor adventures. The 5-bedroom lodge comfortably accommodates 9–12 guests and features amenities including a pool table, BBQ, fire pit, and horseshoes. Conveniently located just minutes from Copper Center, it also offers easy access for scenic drives to Valdez and McCarthy. A full-time cook is on-site to prepare meals for clients throughout their stay.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Over-the-counter harvest tickets and license can be purchased online 2–3 weeks prior to the hunt or at a licensed vendor upon your arrival.
