Join this HFA Endorsed Outfitter in the famed Frank Church Wilderness of Idaho. The Middle Fork of the Salmon River is game rich country that has good populations of all of the species this outfitter hunts. All hunts are fair chase with experienced guides that work hard and love to hunt. This outfitter offers single species hunts as well as combination hunts.

The Frank Church Wilderness is one of the few places left that you can hunt elk with a rifle while they are in the rut. Elk hunting starts in September during the "bugle season". The excitement of hunting bull elk in the rut is something every hunter needs to experience. In mid-October, they transition over to unit 28 for opening season for deer/elk. They see large numbers of elk on these late hunts and use spot and stalk techniques, along with bugling.

In November they spend a lot of time glassing for the big bulls up on the ridges. Their horses will get you into this remote country, but most of the hunting will be done on foot.

They also offer high country trophy mule deer hunts in combination with elk hunts. These late season hunts are a great time to harvest a trophy buck as well. Holding out for a mature buck is always suggested by the outfitter.

These hunts require a charter flight from their hangar to their main staging area. The price is approximately $1200 per round trip flight. The size of the group determines what the total is per person.
