On this cabin-based Canadian Moose hunt, hunters can expect to be hunting mature bulls on a limited quota of only a handful of tags each year. The hunt occurs the first 15 days of November each year and the outfitter has a limited allocation making it a high demand hunt. To give you an idea, last year the saw approximately 54 bulls inside of the 15 day hunt window they have. Bulls must either have 10 points or 3 off the brow to be legal. The area produces above average bulls. If a hunter can hold off of the trigger, a larger bull could realistically be the end result. Just as it is in any area around the globe, the average size can vary widely, as it depends on many factors, including age, genetics, and nutrition. The genetics are there, and the area is known for producing impressive Canadian Moose that most all hunters would be excited to hunt and/or harvest.

There are a lot of moose in the area, and there have been no complaints to date. They want each client to have an unforgettable experience, to harvest a bull, to create lasting memories and friendships, and to hopefully return for future hunts. The do however want to hunt age-class animals, and in the end the ultimate decision is up to each hunter. Every hunter should get an opportunity at a mature bull, hunting in the rut, and hopefully calling them in to close distances for that experience that everyone seeks while hunting moose.
