DESCRIPTION:

The Largest Canadian Moose are found in Northern British Columbia. This outfitter has an average horn size of 54’-55”, and they harvest bulls at 60” or better ever year. The trophy pics speak for themselves. The majority of the moose hunting is in the open alpine country, along the meadows of the rivers and around the network of lakes in the areas. On the lakes they have satellite camps, so they can comfortably spike out and navigate the lakes early in the morning or evening when the Moose are most active. For the more adventurous hunter, they offer horseback hunts at higher elevations where you ride up above timberline and find Moose spread throughout this vast area of grass meadows, arctic birch and willows. This is ideal terrain for the horses to travel through and particularly good for spotting animals that might be off at far distances. They consistently have a 90-95% success rate on Moose. They also offer 2 on 1 Moose only hunts at particular camp situated on the shores of one of the main Rivers. This hunt can accommodate two hunters in river boats and is ideal for hunters with some physical limitations. If you’re after a big Canadian Moose, this outfitter is a great option! The HFA team has hunted with this outfitter several times and stands behind them as an HFA Endorsed Outfitter.

This is an outfitter that the HFA team has hunted with multiple times. This hunt is a true wilderness hunting adventure! The multiple river systems provide boat travel and the wide range of lakes scattered throughout the area are accessed via floatplane. Each camp also has a string of calm, sure-footed horses. They are well-disciplined mountain animals providing an excellent means of transportation to access the nearby plateaus and mountain ranges. This outfitter has combined two of British Columbia’s premier guide territories to offer an opportunity that's unmatched with over 50 years in operation. With the hunting area being on both sides of a major world renowned river, it gives them pristine wilderness habitat that holds excellent game populations with both Pacific and Arctic watersheds that supports world class hunting and fishing. This family owned operation is actively involved in the family business and they all work in the organization in some capacity year round.
