DESCRIPTION:

This is a family owned and operated business by a family that has lived in Wyoming their entire lives. Going on almost 20 years guiding in this area, this outfitter now owns and operates 4 different camps in Western Wyoming. This area is home to a large population of elk, moose, bear, and mountain lion. Their tent camp is very clean and well organized with wood stoves, new cots, real shower stall and excellent meals. The Wyoming Outfitter Board gave this camp the best rating they can give. They have special bred horses that are sure-footed, as well as strong and gentle. All tack and equipment is well maintained, and their guides are dedicated and experienced, and they will give you 100%.

If you’re looking for a high country mule deer hunt, this option is as good as they get, and the trophy gallery speaks for itself. It does require drawing the tag, so if you have points in Wyoming, call our office and we’ll make sure you apply for the correct unit. The Wyoming range mule deer herd has produced more B&C mule deer entries than almost any other deer herd in the world, but this hunt is not for everyone. This hunt is just as mentally tough as it is physically. The deer are smart and tough, and the area is big, and full of rough country, making it hard to cover all of it.

To regularly be successful in these units you must first locate a target buck. It can sometimes take them days upon days of scouting to find target bucks. They spend countless days in the preseason scouting, and once they find their target bucks they regularly check up on them and watch from a distance, learning their routines and habits, etc.

Opening weekend is very over-crowded with hunting pressure, displacing the bucks from natural summer routine. They have learned to hunt around these situations to the best of the circumstances. Sometimes it takes days of sitting behind your optics and being patient, other times completely changing strategies. Sometimes your target deer is killed by another hunter. This is why you hire us. 95+% of the hunters don't have the time it takes to be truly equipped properly and prepared for what it takes to make it happen without the sheer factor of LUCK. This outfitter does all the pre-hunt work that it takes for you to have the best odds possible.

All of these hunts are on horseback. We have a full time cook with all you can eat meals. Don’t hesitate at this hunt cause it’s a general tag, it is an extremely fun hunt with high success.

They do the majority of their traveling on horseback. Once you spot or locate your target bull , depending on where he is and the terrain, you will either cut some distance off on horses and then go in on foot to finalize the stalk, or take off on foot from there. This outfitter takes pride in the way they handle and care for your meat while quartering and packing it back to camp.

Their hunting camp is always maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. The tents are wall tents, they set on wood floors, they are heated by a wood burning stove, they are lighted by a 2500 watt Honda Generator. The sleeping accommodations are just as elaborate; they have outfitter cots, topped with a 4-inch foam mattress. There is a shower available for you to use at your discretion. There will always be a full time cook in camp to prepare first class meals for clients and the crew. The hunting guides and crew are very experienced, professional and very courteous.

It is suggested that you be in the best physical shape possible, for this is very rugged and strenuous country with elevations from 8,500 - 11,000 ft.
