DESCRIPTION:

The Western slope of the Alaska Range is a sight to behold. On any given day a lucky hunter could spot Dall sheep, grizzly, black bear, caribou and moose from one location. With towering peaks and westward views that stretch as far as the eye can see, it's a place every hunter should see at least once. It is here that this outfit takes a small number of caribou hunter every year to pursue big bulls. The genetics in this region can produce truly magnificent caribou with good mass. Hunters should expect to cover ground in this country as the bulls are not found in large numbers. These non-migratory caribou tend to stay in relatively localized areas with shorter transitions between summer and winter grounds. This hunt is great for the adventurous hunter that wants see a lot of country and isn't afraid to make a climb or cover some distance. Hunters should also consider making it a combo with grizzly bears as the odds are high of finding a good bear on your trip.
