The hunting includes 17 species of waterfowl, including several species that are uncommon to most of the United States, like the cinnamon teal, black bellied tree duck and the mottled duck. The region has one of the last wild population of bobwhite quail, which are plentiful and the white wing dove population is exploding with an exorbitant amount of doves
The fishing is literally at your doorstep, with the lodge on the banks of the legendary Lake Guerrero which is known worldwide for the number of record-class large mouth bass consistently caught here. The incredible scenery and thousands of acres of flooded timber is heaven on earth for any angler. A voluntary catch and release program now observed by most fishermen has made this great lake even better. The Hacienda maintains its own fleet of boats and has expert local guides.
When you aren't hunting, you'lI be staying at the Hacienda Las Palmas lodge, one of the nicest lodges in Mexico. This incredibly beautiful lodge offers 13 air conditioned single and double luxury suites, each with their own private bathrooms. The lodge has a large dining room, two lounges, satellite TV, WiFi, a fully stocked premium bar, pool, hot tub and masseuse on staff.
Included are lodging, gourmet meals per day, open bar, gun rental (Beretta/Benelli), hunting license and all transfer fees. The only things not included are shells, airfare, tips and fishing tackle (available for rent). (Tips $400 per shooter, shells on average $500-$600 per shooter)
There are several options on getting to the lodge from flying into Mexico with a 40 minute drive, to flying into Texas and driving over the border. The lodge even has its own small runway for private planes.
