HUNT DETAILS:
This hunt takes place on more than one hundred thousand acres of private land, and the scale of it is the whole point. Seeing one hundred or more elk in a single day is a real possibility here, which changes the character of an elk hunt considerably. Instead of grinding for days to find a bull, hunters spend their time looking over animals and deciding which one is worth pursuing. The herds are well managed, and bulls in the two hundred seventy to three hundred twenty B and C range are what hunters are realistically working toward.
