DESCRIPTION:

The area this HFA Endorsed Outfitter guides in has been established for over 30 years and operates in one of Canada’s prime multiple-species hunting areas. The Concession is approximately 14,000 square miles or 9 million acres of pure wilderness with no people living in it year round, and borders a National Park which is another 11,500 square miles (7,360,000 acres) of un-hunted area. There's less than 40 miles of old mining roads in the hunting area and the rest is virtually untouched by man. This remote area gives their hunters everything they need for a true wilderness experience and is unmatched anywhere in the world in size.

These goats fur up quicker than most and tend to have the larger bodies with some mature billies coming close to 400 pounds. The horns are similar to any other population of goats with 9 inch being average with 5 1/4 inch bases. Even though this area sees low hunter pressure, it is not known for "book goats", but has a great population of mature Billie's. The benefits of doing a Yukon goat hunt are, you can hunt the goats early in the year before the bad weather sets in. This is a great mountain hunt and an unforgettable experience with 100% opportunity on hunts.

Each camp in their concession is set up differently with some rustic but very comfortable cabins with wood stoves, beds or cots & propane lights. These camps all serve their purpose for a hot meal and place to lay your head after a rewarding day in the field, however some of the camps are standard to remote hunting camps of the North. Each camp is set up with propane, cooking utensils and cutlery and a readily accessible water source. Wall tent camps are rare and generally simpler than the cabin camps and are used to put you in the best country to hunt your target animal. On occasion you may need to “spike out” in smaller tents if you’re after a specific animal. However if this is necessary, the guide will discuss with you and decide on a game plan.

Upon arriving at their meeting location, clients are met by their team and prepped for departure into their concession via float plane or vehicle. Modest accommodations and great food will be provided at their base camp throughout your stay.

They have an amazing team of guides, wranglers and other supportive staff that returns each year. Clients say that their work ethic and commitment to providing a standup service is evident in everything they do. Your camp location will be decided based on ours and your guides educated opinion to give you the best opportunity during your hunt.
