DESCRIPTION:

This is a family owned and operated outfitter that's nestled in between the coast mountains and mountain ranges of Northwest British Columbia, Canada. Both the husband and wife work full time in the business, and both provide priceless knowledge and experience. They grew up in B.C. hunting, fishing wrangling, cooking, and trapping from a very young age. They have been guiding full-time for over 12 years now, and not a day goes by that they aren't sleeping, eating and breathing hunting.

Their guide territory covers over 1,500 square miles and produces upper-echelon trophies across the board. Whether you're hunting Mountain Goats in the alpine, or black bears along the coast and mountain benches, this area is one that is sought after by many. With it's breath-taking scenery and abundant wildlife, coupled with a family operation that is a great company all around, this option is one that you should definitely consider.

This particular hunt is for Mountain Goat, and if you're looking for a BIG BILLY, this area produces! This outfitter offers hunts not only for Mountain Goat, but also black bear and/or lynx and wolf. Their hunts are usually paired with a Surf and Turf/Cast and Blast opportunity, allowing clients to hunt the primary species they are in pursuit of, and then do a little freshwater fishing, crabbing, and/or shrimping as well.

The goats in this area are well above average! Many record-class goats have been harvested in this portion of British Columbia. The area is big and vast, and you're not going to run into other hunters or residents. The opportunity rate has been 100% to date! All of the guides are qualified to hunt with both firearms and/or archery equipment, and the outfitter allows archery, rifle, and muzzleloaders, and they also provide rifles for hunters for those that wish to not travel with them. This option is free to their clients.

These hunts are typically started out of a wall tent camp or a hotel, and then up the mountain you go. If you do base out of a wall tent, they are equipped with a wood heater and propane cooking stove. Comfortable cots are supplied, but be sure to bring your own warm sleeping bag and pad for spiking out in backpack tents for the majority of the time. These hunts are very physical and being in shape is a must. The main ascend to get above tree-line at the beginning of the hunt is around a 4-5 hour hike, and then the rest of the time you will be hunting the basins and tops of the mountains where they live.

Each season they hunt Goats from September 1st through November 15th. No matter the time of year, the goats have really good hair, so early or late doesn't really matter. If you are looking for a big billy, this option is one that should find it's way to the top of your list!
