Hunting deer on private land in Kansas can provide a unique and rewarding experience for hunters. There are many private hunting lands in the state that offer the opportunity to hunt whitetail deer, and these lands can often provide more secluded and peaceful hunting experiences compared to public lands. That's exactly what this outfitter has! With over more than 20,000 acres of private land hunting opportunity, it's gonna be tough to beat. These awesome animals are prized for their impressive antlers, and for many hunters, the pursuit of a trophy whitetail deer is a lifelong goal that requires careful planning, training, and practice. As we all know, Trophy whitetail deer hunting is a popular and challenging pursuit that requires a combination of skill, patience, and knowledge. With as much time under the belt as this outfitter has, they've been able to really hone in on what it takes to get these upper-class type of bucks on the ground. Because they understand the behavior and habits of these animals, They know what it takes to select the right hunting location, and use the right equipment and clothing. All of these variable increases the chances of success, which results in a much more memorable and rewarding hunting experience. All of this is what keeps clients coming back year after year.

With the amount of property and stands that this outfitter has, they couldn’t easily run double the clients they currently book each year, but they choose to keep the experience personal and hands-on, with realistic opportunities of harvesting big deer. They lease and/or own over 20,000 acres of exclusive private land, and they hunt approximately 35-40 total clients a year between the Muzzleloader, Archery, and Rifle Seasons. They have over 125 different stands and/or blinds, with the majority of their stands being ladder stands for the muzzy and archery seasons, and hay-bale blinds for the later season rifle hunts.

They host the majority of their hunters during the archery season, with 7-10 during the rifle season, and 2-4 clients during the muzzleloader season. They have great opportunities for early season muzzleloader hunts, and the capability of being on an "ON-CALL" basis is an option. These opportunities are great and they allow a hunter to potentially connect on a big deer. This time of year requires a lot of sitting for small opportunity windows, but the past has proven to more than worth it. If your schedule is a little flexible and you can head to Kansas when the outfitter has patterned one of these early season bucks, this would be a great option for you to jump on. Also, if you didn’t connect on a buck during the muzzleloader season, the outfitter does offer the option of returning during the rifle season to hunt with your muzzleloader, which is legal in Kansas.

APPLYING IN KANSAS:

This opportunity does require drawing a tag through the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism (KDWPT), which is a lottery system. It can be an intimidating process, but no worries, we have you covered. Our License Application Service division provides this service for thousands of our members and would be more than happy to take care of you. Ask your advisor more about this and he or she can set you up with our License Application Service division to get the ball rolling.

The KDWPT uses a lottery system to determine which applicants will be selected to receive deer hunting tags. The number of tags available in each hunting unit is limited, and the number of applicants often exceeds the number of available tags. As a result, it is not guaranteed that all applicants will be selected to receive a deer hunting tag. Hunters who are selected to receive a deer hunting tag will be notified by the KDWPT and will need to pay a fee to obtain the tag. Overall, the process for applying for a deer hunting tag in Kansas involves purchasing a hunting license and submitting an application through the KDWPT's online licensing system or at a licensed vendor. By following the application process and complying with the state's hunting regulations, hunters can increase their chances of being selected to receive a deer hunting tag in Kansas. It is important for hunters to carefully review the hunting regulations before applying for a deer hunting tag, as there are specific rules and restrictions that apply to deer hunting in Kansas. Ask your advisor more about this and he or she can set you up with our License Application Service division. If you want to do it yourself, you will need and want to converse with your advisor and coordinate on the specifics of the area, season, weapon, etc. to apply for.
