If your looking for new experience that's full of action and adventure, then this hunt is for you! This is a family owned and operated business by a family that has lived in Wyoming their entire lives. Going on almost 20 years guiding in this area, this outfitter now owns and operates 4 different camps in Western Wyoming. This area is home to a large population of elk, moose, bear, and mountain lion. Their tent camp is very clean and well organized with wood stoves, new cots, real shower stall and excellent meals. The Wyoming Outfitter Board gave this camp the best rating they can give. They have special bred horses that are sure-footed, as well as strong and gentle. All tack and equipment is well maintained, and their guides are dedicated and experienced, and they will give you 100%.
This outfitter has experienced over a 95% success rate on their lion hunts over the past 10 years. They take place November thru February, and are conducted with the use of 4x4 Vehicles, ATV's, UTV's, snow machines, and horses. This hunt is a one on one hunt, the tag is over-the-counter, and you will stay at a nice and comfortable ranch house. At the ranch house you will enjoy the comfort of a shower and hot cooked meals. They will provide transportation to and from the airport, skinning and prepping of the hyde will be taken care of by your guide.
This is a very exciting hunt with the use of hounds. If you're in good physical shape that will help a lot. Once a fresh track is found we let the hounds do their job and let the fun begin. You will see lots of deer, elk, and other game on their winter range while looking for these cats, and past clients have expressed how this was an added bonus to the hunt.
There are a lot of other fun activities to do during this time a year, so bringing a spouse or family member or friend is encouraged. They're only an hour away from Jackson Hole where there are multiple ski resorts, sleigh rides through the national elk refuge, snowmobiling into hot springs, and endless shopping.
