DESCRIPTION:

This outfitter operates in an area that supports a healthy population of Stone Sheep with a unique strain called the (Stikine Niger), which is recognizable by their distinct black coloration. These dark rams blend into the black shale slides which make up the topography in the area and they have a good camouflage in the summer that is equal to the Dall Sheep’s in winter. Their average ram is 10 years old, and they can be found in different habitats across their entire area. When the season opens in early August, the rams are generally up high taking advantage of the cool breezes. It’s during the earlier months that it’s typically best to hunt Stone Sheep in this area, as the days are longer and the mountain weather is generally better then. With the additional areas that they have now acquired, they now have the opportunity to span across an even larger range accessing more basins and territories than ever before. They boast a near perfect record of harvest over the past 40 plus years and plan to keep this track record going! The HFA team has hunted with this outfitter several times and stands behind them as an HFA Endorsed Outfitter.

This outfitter has combined two of British Columbia’s premier guide territories to offer an opportunity that's unmatched with over 50 years in operation. With the hunting area being on both sides of a major world renowned river, it gives them pristine wilderness habitat that holds excellent game populations with both Pacific and Arctic watersheds that supports world class hunting and fishing. This family owned operation is actively involved in the family business and they all work in the organization in some capacity year round.
