garth Garth Carter — Founder of Carter’s Hunter Services, graduated from Utah State University with a Wildlife Degree in 1975 and immediately went to work for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, retiring after 20 years. While working for the Utah DWR, Garth hunted 3-4 western states annually, acquiring a vast knowledge of trophy hunting in the west. After 20 years with the Utah DWR, Dunn's (the catalog company) hired Garth as their North American Hunting Consultant. In 1996 Garth opened the doors of Carter's Hunter Services and since has become one of North America’s premier hunting consultants and publisher of The Huntin’ Fool monthly magazine.
200JasonElk.jpg Jason Carter — Owner/Hunting Consultant/Magazine Editor, Garth's son, grew up in a pure hunting environment. He assisted his dad on everything from aerial big game surveys to fish stocking. When Garth went to work for Dunn's, Jason assisted in booking clients. Jason has hunted everything from Mule deer on the eastern plains of Colorado to California Bighorns in Oregon. He has guided and outfitted in the states of Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, and Idaho. He graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Finance and has been working full time for Hunter Services since 1997. Jason is instrumental in the production of The Huntin’ Fool and works directly with our network of outfitters to put our members on top quality hunts. Jason has harvested a number of world class animals including three Mule deer scoring in excess of 200” one of which is a 35”, 234 net non-typical Mule deer taken in Nevada on a tag he drew.  He has also guided clients to numerous 200”+ Mule deer and two 400”+ bulls, one of which is the largest gross scoring bull to ever come out of Utah at 434 6/8!
AdamBronsonIntrophoto Adam Bronson — Hunting Consultant, Other than his family, there is little more that consumes Adam's time and energy than hunting. Simply put, the term Huntin' Fool describes Adam perfectly! After a graduate school project at Utah State University, studying Desert Bighorn sheep in southern Utah, Adam was hired as a Wildlife Biologist with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. He later accepted a promotion to work as Utah's Big Game Project Leader where his primary duties consisted of working on big game transplant projects and statewide big game management issues. In 2006 Adam joined the Huntin' Fool team as a full time hunting consultant. Adam has hunted 2-3 western states annually and has a vast knowledge of western big game hunting. In a recent issue of The Huntin' Fool Adam said, "I'm always looking for a way to pull another great tag or dreaming of chasing a big ram in some remote canyon... I'm equally committed to providing you (the Huntin' Fool members) the best information, personal suggestions, and tools you need to make your hunting trips more rewarding and successful."
JeffWarrenIntrophoto Jeff Warren — Hunting Consultant, Jeff is the newest addition to the Huntin' Fool staff. Most avid western big game hunters know Jeff as part of Bucks and Bulls Outfitters, with Kim Bonnett. Kim and Jeff have been known for providing exceptionally high quality deer, elk, and antelope hunts from the Utah borders to Mexico. They have specialized in high scoring trophy big animals for over two decades. A ton of trophy animals have been put in the book as a result of their efforts. Personally Jeff is an accomplished hunter in his own right, having harvested trophy animals throughout the West. ?Jeff will be available to consult with members about big game hunts, opportunities throughout the West, and will be a valuable asset to any member planning a guided western big game hunt for the future.
