One of the greatest tools Huntin’ Fool offers is communication between our hunting community. With that being said, we’re excited to announce that we’ve added another resource for hunters, and this one is available right at your fingertips. The new Huntin’ Fool App is free and available for download in the iTunes and Google Play stores. It includes features for members and non-members alike. Now, you can take Huntin’ Fool with you wherever you go.
The Huntin’ Fool App is simple to use and makes it convenient for members to access all of the resources and services we offer. For the membersonly features, a member’s website login will be required to access them. These features include scheduling consultations with a Hunt Advisor, reading the monthly magazine, researching state and unit specific draw odds, requesting a Member Draw list, talking to other Huntin’ Fool members via the forum, and more.
There are also some great features available to everyone for free. These include searching for an Endorsed Outfitter, listening to the Built to Hunt Podcast, purchasing landowner tags, entering the current Membership Drive, and more. One of the most exciting free features on the app is the ability to set reminders for application deadlines. Find the application deadlines that are important to you, and with the click of a button, the app will sync to your phone’s calendar and set a reminder for the upcoming deadlines you don’t want to miss.
When we came up with the idea for this new app, we wanted it to add convenience to the lives of those who utilize our resources and services. Trying to navigate the state websites can be extremely difficult and inconvenient. As such, we have created a State Game and Fish Website Directory within our app. This gives you one-click access to the pages you are looking for so you don’t have to click through a bunch of unnecessary pages. Once you click on a state name in our directory, you’ll have one-click access to pages that include submitting applications, looking up points, looking up draw results, hunter education, and contacting the state. Use this resource within the app as your one-stop shop for all things state related.
The Huntin’ Fool App makes it easier to submit your photos and stories to be considered for print in our magazine. Upload your photos directly to our website from your phone. The new app makes it convenient for you to be able to take a photo directly from your camera roll and send it to us.
