AllTerra Arms, manufacturer of precision bolt-action rifles with exclusive patented technology, recently announced a new rifle model – the nimble Mountain Shadow Steel. This match-grade rifle achieves benchrest accuracy with patented Bolt-to-Bore AlignmentTM and a distinct, spiral-fluted barrel design. The Mountain Shadow Steel is so accurate that it’s backed by AllTerra Arms’ guarantee that promises sub-1/2" 3-shot groups with premium factory ammo; sub-1/4" 3-shot groups with custom AllTerra Arms ammunition; and no significant change in accuracy when shooting different bullet weights.
 
Like all AllTerra Arms rifles, the Mountain Shadow Steel features a patented Dual-Lock Barrel SeatTM and .0005" machining tolerances to achieve exact Bolt-to-Bore AlignmentTM. The patented receiver design also delivers No-Fail CyclingTM when working the action. The rifle will never jam or fail, guaranteed.
 
AllTerra Arms developed custom loads specifically for the Mountain Shadow Steel that produce velocities from a 22" barrel which exceed the performance of popular loads from 26" barrels. All barrels are 5/8"-24 threaded for suppressors and include a stainless-steel directional muzzle brake.
 
The base weight of the Mountain Shadow Steel is impressive at as little as 6.5 pounds. It is available in 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 PRC, 6.5 SS, 6.5 SST, 28 Nosler, 7 Rem Mag, 7MM SAUM, 7 SS, 300 SS, 300 PRC, and 338 SS. Each rifle is built-to-order on AllTerra Arms’ innovative Carbon Hunter stock in a wide variety of finish options. The stock design promotes excellent shooting form while dramatically managing recoil.
