Although it is made from breathable fabrics, our raingear is designed to keep you dry and protected in the stormiest of weather. The Nunavut jacket includes seven accessible pockets to carry the essentials for a hunt in the harshest of conditions. In addition to backpack-compatible pocket placement, the Nunavut features large armpit ventilation. We've sized this jacket to fit over all of our base layers and insulation layers even while worn together. The three-layer stretch Nunavut pants include all the features you need for a hunting trip in harsh conditions and challenging terrain. The KevlarTM reinforced knees offer extra durability. Full-length, three-headed zips give you the ability to ventilate any area that needs it.

“Raingear is just like your weapon. You might carry it around the entire hunt and never need it, but when you do, you want it to be reliable and do its job to perfection. CANIS nailed it with the Nunavut Rain Jacket and Pants. When you first pick up this set, you can see and feel all the details that went into designing it. One of my favorite things about the pants are the built-in snow gaiters. This is very important because if you have been hiking during or shortly after a rainstorm, you know how damp the grass and brush are. It never fails during these times that the bottom of your pants get wet even under your raingear, but not with the Nunavut pants.

Another very important piece to these pants are the Kevlar-reinforced knees with removable kneepads. I’m not one who really likes having kneepads in when hiking around because they are not very comfortable. However, when I am crawling around stalking animals in rough terrain, they are a game changer. Both the jacket and the pants have full-length zips that give you the ability to ventilate if needed. Raingear is normally very hot and doesn’t breathe at all, but with these full-length zips in perfect areas, you are able to get a little air. If you are in the market for new raingear that won’t let you down, take a look at the Nunavut set from CANIS.” – Braxton Byers, Outfitter Specialist & Hunt Advisor
