This outfitter has been in the industry for over 15 years. Their area is approx. 3300 sq. miles and is considered to be one of the best hunting areas in all of Canada. With little resident hunting pressure to 95% of the outfitter concession, it remains country that is remote and untouched, with no riverboat access as well. This makes for a great experience for clients, and everything has to be flown in via floatplane or long horse pack trains doing the off-season and during hunts (when applicable).
The average Billie is 9 ¼“ and because the mountains where these monarchs live get snowed on in July and August these goats are known for their long hair, even on early hunts. Hunts are done either by horseback or backpack. They target these goats in late August/ Early September. Even thought this area is sees low hunter pressure, it is not known for "book goats", but has a great population of mature Billie's. Hunters can choose from a 7 or 10 day hunt and make it as hard or easy as you like. This is a great mountain hunt and an unforgettable experience with 100% opportunity on hunts including archery, since purchasing 2017.
*If you're an archery hunter, this option is a very good one to consider. The guides are expert archery hunters and the terrain is very conducive to archery hunting.
Upon arriving at their meeting location, clients are met by their team and prepped for departure into their concession via float plane or vehicle.
