DESCRIPTION:

This is a guided or semi-guided remote camp hunt for free-range wild Bison. This hunt occurs in the state of Arizona, in the Kaibab National Forest. This hunt requires that a hunter draws the permit through the state of Arizona’s application and draw program for big game hunt permit-tags. Our office can assist you in applying for this hunt, and ensure that you’re applied for the correct state, unit, species, weapon, and season, based on the available options to choose from that works best with your preference and/or schedule.

If you are fortunate to have drawn one of these special “Once-In-A-Lifetime Bison Tags”, this outfitter needs to be at the top of your list! They are passionate about Bison and Bison hunting, and have a track record that precedes them. This family run operation has this hunt dialed in from top to bottom, having considered and personally experienced all of the variables necessary to place the odds in your favor better than anyone out there. They spend 250 days a year in the field hunting, scouting, assisting with fencing projects, water hole projects, road clearing, and multiple other outdoor related activities. This invaluable time in the field allows them to stay in touch with the game and overall area that clients will be hunting.

DURATION: Hunt packages include the (entire season) for the tag which has been drawn. In other words, the package you choose is the same price no matter if your season dates are 2 weeks long, 6 weeks long, or 3 months long.

PRICING: As you will see in the pricing, the packages offered vary in price based on tangible / intangible resources provided by the outfitter. Simply put, the lower the price-point, the less resources provided by the outfitter.

Their hunts come with a camp, food, guides, trip transportation, and all the necessary equipment to hunt the Bison in the area. The majority of their chosen hunting areas cannot be accessed by vehicle, and the use of outfitter chosen and equipped UTV’s allows them to arrive and hunt in areas that could not be hunted the way that they are hunted otherwise. This hunt consists of hunting in snow, dirt, and mud, as well as a combination of all three together. The vehicles used to run their operation are all top notch, and are alternated every 2-3 years to ensure optimum operation with limited to no mechanical interferences during their hunts.

This hunt consists of hunting out of a blind strategically placed in areas where the Bison have proven to travel or frequent. The methods the outfitter uses have been proven time and time again. Following the outfitter's lead, patience, and persistence are the key factors that have proven great success in the past.
