This outfitter is a family owned and operated hunting business that was established in 1977. They offer hunts for elk, mule deer, mountain lion, sheep, and everything in between. They have been operating as a family run business since the late 70's, and have many happy clients that have repeated too many times to count. The operate primarily in Colorado units 60, 61, 70, 71, 711, 21, and 30. Depending on the unit, elk tags can be purchased over-the-counter and do not require a draw. Some units do require drawing the tag, so call our office for more information.

Southwestern Colorado is a popular destination for elk hunting, offering hunters some of the best opportunities to harvest mature bulls in the country. The region's vast wilderness areas, high-altitude terrain, and abundant elk populations make it an ideal location for elk hunters. Hunting in Southwestern Colorado typically takes place during the fall season, with archery season starting in late August and rifle season running from early October to late November.

These guided hunts provide hunters with professional guides who have extensive knowledge of the local area and the habits of the local elk populations. They know the local terrain, the behavior and habitat of the game you're pursuing, and the best locations to find them. This can save you a lot of time and effort in scouting for game and increase your chances of a successful hunt. They have access to specialized equipment, such as hunting blinds, tree stands, vehicles, horses, ATV's, etc, and this equipment will serve as invaluable additions to an already top choice hunt in Colorado.

Elk hunts are conducted 1x1 by arrangement with the outfitter. If a 2x1 hunt is desired, please communicate with us and we can coordinate the proper pricing. Hunts run five hunting days, plus one day in and one day out for travel. The hunt can be as hard or as easy as you would like it to be. They use 4x4 trucks and walking, and horses are available. Around 85% - 90% of tags are filled depending on the weather and the ability and desire of the hunter and the size of bull desired. They would like to say 100% but there is never a guarantee.

Private land surrounded by BLM is yours to explore while enjoying comfortable self contained campers, or in some cases, cabins with hot showers and 4x4 transportation. Combine that with some of the best hunting in Colorado and you have a hunt with this Endorsed Outfitter.

You're going to enjoy staying with this outfitter. Their camp is rustic but comfortable, located on the beautiful western slope of Colorado. You'll really be able to "check out" and get back to nature when you're hunting with this outfitter. All hunts include a staff cook that will keep you well fed and in good spirits. You'll lay your head on a good mattress without worry of being windblown or rained on during the night. All camp-trailers are equipped with bathrooms and hot showers.
