DESCRIPTION:

This hunt takes place out of Norfolk, UK which is a county in the East of England and East Anglia. It borders Lincolnshire and The Wash to the north-west, the North Sea to the north and east, Cambridgeshire to the west, and Suffolk to the south. The largest settlement is the city of Norwich. This outfitter's background started with stalking red deer in the highlands of Scotland, and as their experience grew so did their desire to increase the challenge. The owners are world travelers and have hunted on many continents, so they understand first-hand what it takes to provide the experience as you would expect it to be.

Muntjac hunting in the UK can be considered a great opportunity for several reasons. Muntjac deer populations in the UK have been on the rise for several decades. They are now widespread and numerous in many areas, making them readily available game for hunters. They are classified as invasive non-native species in the UK, which means there are no closed hunting seasons or bag limits for them. Hunters can pursue them year-round, providing flexibility in planning hunting trips.

Despite their small size, Muntjacs can be elusive and challenging to hunt due to their keen senses and wariness. This can provide an exciting and rewarding hunting experience for those who enjoy the pursuit. For some hunters, Muntjac hunting provides an opportunity to participate in ethical and sustainable hunting practices, ensuring a clean and humane kill and utilizing the harvested meat. Needless to say nothing goes to waste.

Hunters can choose from various hunting methods for Muntjacs, including stalking, shooting, and hunting with dogs, providing options to cater to their preferences and skills. In addition to hunting Muntjac, hunters can also take advantage of other opportunities such as Red Stag, Chinese Water Deer, Roe Deer, Sika Deer, and Blackbuck. There are also opportunities for Upland game and Waterfowl hunting. This outfitter offers all of these opportunities.

Steeped in a rich cultural history, the United Kingdom needs little introduction. Consisting of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, Great Britain has 7 big game species that can be pursued. For Muntjac and Chinese Water Deer there is no country in the World better than England to shoot a goodt rophy, with a 5th of the World’s population of CWD living across 3 counties in England. The red deer stalking culture in Scotland; in some cases still using a pony, is something unique to only the Highlands, and despite the smaller heads compared to Southern England’s World Class medals, the stalking experience here is something to behold. With strong populations of introduced Sika Deer in Scotland, Ireland and England, with both Roe and Fallow throughout the mainland, a number of trips are required to understand the United Kingdom’s full sporting potential. The British invented Shotgun Shooting for sport, and nowhere else on earth is it possible to experience such great traditions in the hunt; whilst the same time experiencing great sport, than on a English driven game day.

The country boasts a wide range of landscapes and natural features, making it an appealing destination for hunters. The UK is known for its picturesque rolling hills and countryside, particularly in regions like the Cotswolds in England and the Scottish Highlands. These areas offer scenic beauty with lush green fields, meadows, and woodlands. It has a long coastline with stunning coastal landscapes, including dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches, and picturesque fishing villages. The coastline of Cornwall, the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, and the Northern Irish coast are notable examples. It is broken up with extensive woodlands and forests, like the New Forest in England and Trossachs National Park in Scotland. These areas provide rich biodiversity and are often visited for outdoor activities. The UK offers beautiful and diverse landscapes for hunting, making the experience enjoyable not just for the hunt but also for the natural surroundings.
