DESCRIPTION:

Fall hunts are classic spot and stalk hunts and are often combined with moose or caribou. A hunter could encounter a grizzly virtually anywhere in this habitat during the fall. Bears could be digging pea vine on the valley floor or gorging on berries several thousand feet up a mountain or anywhere in between. These bears tend to be quite glassable and will hold for a stalk if the food is good.

Spring hunts are a bit more adventurous. Landing in a ski-equipped Super Cub near known denning areas puts the hunter in a unique position for an early morning approach. Leaving camp in the morning on snowshoes and closing on a bear near the den is an exciting and effective way to hunt spring Grizzlies. These spring hunts often produce the most luxurious deep hair.

Whether spring or fall, if you are seeking an Alaska Grizzly, this outfitter has them.
