Within driving distance of Dallas, Texas, this quality whitetail hunting ranch offers 4,200 acres of premium whitetail deer habitat. The owners have been in business since 1990, and clients continue to come back year after year. Not only do they hunt and operate in Texas, they have also hunted all around the world and they know what it takes to give you a first class experience.

They operate by strict game management programs that assures their hunters a good selection to hunt every year. The prices are based on the gross SCI scoring measurement system.

When hunters arrive at the ranch, their goal is to make their hunting experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The guides generally hunt one on one, using four wheel drive ATV’s to get hunters to and from the hunting areas. Guests at the ranch have the option to hunt from stands and ground blinds in the early mornings and evenings. They use 5X5 and 4X5 double walled metal Atascosa blinds. These are certainly some of the best blinds made in Texas. These double walled insulated blinds are comfortable in the unpredictable Texas weather. There are times their guides like to still hunt, rattle and use 4-wheel drive ATV’s safari style to obtain the trophy that clients are after on this vast Texas ranch.

The outfitter offers hunts and lodging that can be tailored to fit any schedule. Their lodge offers first class accommodations complete with gourmet meals prepared by their very own chef. Although they do not permit alcohol in the field for safety reasons, at night they invite you to sample some of the best wine and drink in Texas, while enjoying a gourmet dinner and relaxing by the fire.

The whitetail hunting season starts the first Saturday in October and runs thru February. Cotton Mesa ranch offers a large variety of exotics as well, many of which can be hunted year around in Texas. The best season for hunters looking for whitetail hunts starts the first of October and runs through the end of January. Using all legal methods (rifle, bow, muzzleloader) Exotics may be hunted year round.

This hunt comes with comfortable and lodging accommodation in their first-class lodge. Their lodging facility was built in 2010, and each bedroom has a private bath, television with cable service, and of course Internet is also available.
