This HFA Endorsed Outfitter first obtained his guides license in Wyoming in 2000. From then on he has had a guides license and guided for other outfitters throughout the years for a couple doing wilderness horseback hunts, to hunting the prairies for deer and antelope. After the fall of 2020 he decided to pursue getting his outfitters license and starting his own business. Since then, they have secure several great permits and private ranches in northwestern Wyoming and have provide incredible hunts for each of their clients!
This hunt take place in Area 34 located in the Southern end of Bighorn Mountains on over 10,000 acres of private land. They have 2 different camps that they hunt out of with rustic, yet comfortable accommodations for their hunters to stay in, and home cooked meals made by their guides. Don’t let that scare you, their guides are well seasoned in the art of camp cooking. (translation: you’re going to eat well)! Lunches are provided at the cabin or in the field given the hunting situations for the day. Plenty of snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day as each guide carries a cooler in their rig. Both camps sit at just over 8,000' elevation and are accessible from 4wd vehicles.
For those wanting a true archery elk hunt this hunt is for you. With great elk numbers and well managed private land, these archery elk hunts have high success rates with high rutting activity, expect to see lots of elk. These hunts are done from 4wd vehicles and on foot calling or sitting active water holes. They run over a 70% success and constantly kill bulls in the 300-330 range with the biggest ever taken on the ranch scoring over 370! All hunts are 1x1 and you can expect to be into elk everyday!
