The have deep connections with private land-owners, and they are very versed in the public areas that they have been hunting their entire lives. They hunt all of the seasons, and their goal isn't to hunt quantity, but QUALITY. They offer a select amount of hunts each year, and planning to hunt with this outfitter is a good idea.

Oregon is home to the largest population of Roosevelt elk in the United States. The state offers vast expanses of elk habitat, including dense forests, mountains, and coastal areas, providing ample opportunities for elk hunting. They are known for their impressive antler size and overall trophy quality. Many hunters are attracted to the challenge of pursuing these majestic animals and potentially harvesting a trophy bull, which is what this outfitter is no stranger to.

Oregon's diverse landscape provides hunters with a range of hunting environments. From dense forests to open meadows, rugged mountains to coastal marshes, and hunters can choose their preferred hunting terrain based on their skills and preferences. Hunting regulations often include extended seasons for Roosevelt elk, and this provides greater flexibility for both resident and non-resident hunters to pursue elk during various times of the year. This outfitter hunts all of the seasons, so whichever weapon you choose to hunt with, they have options for you.

Oregon has a significant amount of public land, including national forests, wildlife management areas, and state forests, which offer opportunities for elk hunting. These public lands provide accessible hunting grounds for both residents and non-residents, increasing the appeal of hunting in Oregon.

When it comes to the trophy quality Oregon as a whole is highly regarded and attracts hunters seeking impressive antlered bulls. The areas this outfitter hunts are known for their large antlers, and trophy bulls often exhibit long, sweeping antlers with multiple points and significant mass. They are the largest-bodied elk subspecies, and Oregon is home to some of the largest specimens. Trophy bulls can have substantial body weights, further enhancing their overall presence and trophy quality.

Oregon's Roosevelt elk population benefits from favorable genetics due to years of careful management and conservation efforts. This has contributed to the development of bulls with desirable traits. The trophy quality of Roosevelt elk most of the time increases with age. Bulls that have had the opportunity to reach maturity, typically around 5-7 years old, have had more time to develop their antlers and body size. Targeting older age-class bulls increases the likelihood of harvesting a trophy-quality elk, and the overall goal of this outfitter is to do just that! Some areas in Oregon implement controlled hunting tags and limited entry permits, which help manage hunting pressure and conserve the quality of elk populations. These management strategies contribute to the availability of mature bulls and maintain the trophy quality of the elk herds.

As trophy quality can vary among individuals, and success in harvesting a trophy bull depends on various factors, including hunting skills, knowledge of the area, and a bit of luck, this outfitter is providing their services to our clients to make the hunt and experience the best it can be according to what the client wants.

And when the hunting is done, there are still things to do. As you can see in the photos, there are other activities available such as fishing, hiking, rafting, etc. The outfitter has great contacts for all of these things.
