This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is a family owned and operated outfitter that has been around since the 70's. They offer fully guided and outfitted Mule Deer, Whitetail, Black Bear, Wingshooting, and Predator hunts. This particular profile outlines their trophy mule deer hunts, that can also be coupled with trophy whitetail if a combo hunt is something you're interested in.

Alberta is home to some of the very best trophy mule deer hunting in the world. Each year the province produces countless trophy deer and some true monsters. They offer hunts in Alberta's farmland areas where they have strategically placed their hunting lodges in the very best WMUS for trophy bucks, along with large numbers of game. Their hunts are 1 on 1 guided and they consistently produce an average of 180+ mule deer bucks. Their guides are well versed with Whitetail and Mule deer in the province. The lodges are comfortable accommodations, a pleasant staff, and great home cooked meals.

While on your hunt they will scour private land and some public land in search of trophy deer. Rolling hills and vast pasture land and crop with low scrub brush provide cover for the large population of deer in central Alberta. There are also blocks of heavy cover and river bottoms that provide great cover and habitat.

Central Alberta is renowned for its mule deer hunting for several reasons. It boasts a healthy population of mule deer, thanks to its diverse and suitable habitat consisting of mixed woodlands, agricultural lands, and prairie regions. This abundance increases the likelihood of successful hunts. The region is known for producing trophy-sized mule deer bucks with impressive antler growth. Their areas are located where genetics and habitat contribute to the development of large-bodied, mature bucks with impressive antlers. Central Alberta offers a variety of terrains, including rolling hills, river valleys, and dense forests, providing ample opportunities for different hunting techniques such as spot-and-stalk, still hunting, or stand hunting.

The genetics of the mule deer population in Central Alberta play a significant role in producing larger bucks. Over time, natural selection favors individuals with desirable traits, such as large antlers and robust body size. As a result, the local mule deer population may exhibit genetic characteristics that lead to the production of larger bucks. While Central Alberta is popular among hunters, it may not experience as much hunting pressure as other regions with higher population densities or more accessible terrain. Lower hunting pressure has allowed bucks to survive longer and grow larger before being harvested.

This outfitter provides two different lodges equipped with a trophy room and large dining area. They can accommodate around 4-10 hunters in camp at a time, and each location has a washer dryer, all necessary bedding, and showers.

Over the years, Central Alberta has gained a reputation as a prime destination for mule deer hunting. This reputation, coupled with the tradition of hunting in the region and a quality outfitter are what contributes to its popularity among hunters seeking a good hunting experience all around.
