DESCRIPTION:

This outfitter is a family owned operation and is based in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. All of their hunting areas are within a 2-3 hour drive from the East London airport. The area you will hunt is determined by what is on your wish list. The outfitter has guided hunts over vast areas in South Africa as well as Mozambique and Tanzania, where he spent two seasons gaining his dangerous game experience before returning to South Africa. The landscapes vary from steep valleys and large mountains to open plains with an abundance of animals. They operate from a few different areas in the Eastern Cape depending which species they are hunting.

On 10+ day hunts they generally split the hunt into two areas giving you the opportunity to see more of the country and a better chance of hunting a quality trophy. The Eastern Cape boasts over 30 hunt-able species. You will be able to hunt everything from the "Big 5" to the "Tiny 10", and numerous different terrains, which is why this province is truly a hunters paradise.

They offer a variety of options for hunting and fishing. They offer Dangerous Game Safaris, Plains game safaris, Tiger fishing, and Photographic safaris. Your safari is their priority and they will tailor-make your safari to suit you. Whether it is rifle-hunting, bow-hunting, or a mixture of hunting and a few days relaxing on the beautiful coast of South Africa.

Hunting in the Eastern Cape is typically conducted on large, unfenced properties where animals roam freely in their natural habitat. This allows for fair chase hunting, where hunters must use their skills and knowledge to track, stalk, and outsmart their quarry in a challenging and ethical manner. The Eastern Cape is also renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, characterized by rolling hills, rugged mountains, expansive plains, and lush valleys. Hunters are treated to stunning views of the African bushveld, creating a picturesque backdrop for their hunting adventures.

The Eastern Cape of South Africa is much different from hunting in other parts of South Africa, especially when compared to hunting in areas like the Limpopo region or bushveld, where it's characterized by dense shrubs, thorn trees, and grasses. In the Eastern Cape it is much more open, and is characterized by savannah landscapes, featuring a mix of grasslands, shrubs, and scattered trees such as acacias and thornveld. The Eastern Cape includes several mountain ranges and rolling hills, such as the Amatola Mountains and the Winterberg Mountains. These elevated areas offer diverse hunting opportunities, with rugged terrain, rocky outcrops, and dense vegetation providing habitat for species like mountain reedbuck, bushbuck, and klipspringer.

The Eastern Cape is crisscrossed by rivers and streams, which give rise to lush riverine forests along their banks. These areas are home to a variety of wildlife, including bushpig, waterbuck, and various bird species. Hunters may find opportunities for ambush hunting and tracking in these dense and verdant habitats. There are also open grasslands and plains are also prevalent in the Eastern Cape, particularly in the more arid regions of the Karoo. These vast expanses of open terrain provide ideal habitat for grazing species such as blesbok, springbok, and black wildebeest, offering hunters opportunities for long-range shooting and spot-and-stalk hunting.

Aside from the mountains and plains, the Eastern Cape also includes a stretch of coastline along the Indian Ocean, which offers additional hunting opportunities in coastal habitats. Coastal forests, dunes, and estuaries provide habitat for species like bushbuck, blue duiker, and various waterfowl, adding diversity to the hunting experience in the region. In addition to natural habitats, the Eastern Cape also includes agricultural lands such as farmlands, orchards, and vineyards. These areas may attract certain game species, such as springbok and blesbok, providing additional hunting opportunities outside of pristine wilderness areas.

This outfitter provides hunters with the opportunity to immerse themselves in South Africa's rich hunting culture and traditions.

Whether it's hunting, Fishing, or Touring, this outfitter has the ability to offer all of these services!
