DESCRIPTION:

This outfit has been in operation since 2005. Located inside the Northern Rocky Mountains Provincial Park, they are fortunate enough to operate within a protected park area. They offer expertly guided hunts in the incredible mountain ranges of Northern British Columbia. Their hunting ranges are home to many incredible species such as Stone Sheep, Canadian Moose, Mountain Goat, and Elk - all of which offer once-in-a-lifetime hunting experiences. Their hunts take place in the best Stone sheep range in BC, they have the best genetics for horn growth and their rams are the traditional stone sheep coloring with darker coloring than rams found in most other areas. The hunts are the traditional Jack O’Connor style horseback hunts on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies. Their sheep guides and support staff are all very experienced and their main concern is providing you with the hunt of a lifetime.

BC is one of only two places where you can find Stones Sheep, and it offers some of the best Mountain Goat hunts in North America. If you're looking for a traditional big game hunting experience in some of the world's most vast wilderness, BC is made for you. They use proper management of their hunting concessions by targeting mature game for harvest; leaving their wildlife populations healthy and stable for the following years to come. Stone Sheep inhabit only in South-Central Yukon (about 3000 animals) and British Columbia (about 12,000). Here, they are distributed along the interior side of the Coast Range from the Yukon border to the vicinity of Mount Edziza and Spatsizi parks in the Stikine drainage and eastward into the Cassiar, Omineca, Muskwa, and Northern Rocky Mountain ranges. The Pine River valley is the approximate dividing line between Thin-horn and Bighorn Sheep in British Columbia. Their 2100 square mile outfitting concession is situated in this region of British Columbia, and is well known for its stone sheep densities, dark capes and superb genetics.

This particular profile is for Stone Sheep... the Pinnacle of BC Big Game Hunts! Stone sheep are not only one of the most beautiful of the grand slam sheep species, but also one of the most challenging to acquire. These sheep live in some of the roughest and most breathtaking landscapes in BC, pushing hunters to their limits to get their hands on British Columbia's ultimate trophy.

Their guided hunts take place in the premier Stone Sheep hunting area in BC, and they consistently produce great rams for their hunters. They pride themselves on offering some of the best stone sheep hunts available, and hope to have you on one of these incredible hunts to witness it for yourself. All of their hunts consist of one guide and one wrangler per hunter. During your 13-day sheep hunt you can expect to travel by horseback throughout the territory, but when necessary, backpacking may be a factor in order to access remote hard-to-reach parts of the concession. All hunters must arrive in good shape and ready for their hunt. Stone sheep hunting will require you to be physically and mentally prepared.

Their expansive hunting concession consistently produces rams over 8 1/2 years of age with an average horn length of 37 inches, an over past seasons we've had a perpetual success rate of over 85%. The only requirement to achieve this is hard work!
