DESCRIPTION:

This outfitter has been hunting, guiding, and outfitting on the Kaibab since he was 10 years old. Without missing a single year for the past 30+ years, this family-run operation and their team have come to know it inside and out. Whether hunting the 12A or 12B sides of the mountain range, this outfitter has hunted it all. They know the roads, the drainages, and the water sources across the entire unit. They have guided clients for all seasons, and their main areas of focus are the early and late rifle hunts. They only guide a few clients each year on the Kaibab, allowing them to dedicate all of their focus on a few select clients. This has proven to produce great results and happy clients each year.

As for their camps, they setup a great camp with 5th-wheel trailers, all of the amenities of home, and a great team of guides. With home-cooked meals for breakfast and dinner, and sack lunches for in the field, you won't ever have to worry about being hungry. They run top-of-the-line vehicles and ATV's/UTV's, allowing access into every area that they hunt, regardless of the terrain. Their guides are very knowledgeable with all weapons/seasons, no matter if it's archery, muzzleloader, or rifle.

The mule deer on the Kaibab are known for their migratory behavior, moving between higher elevations in summer and lower elevations in winter. This migration can concentrate deer in certain areas during specific times of the year, increasing the chances of successful hunting during these migration periods. This outfitter knows these patterns and when and where to be as the deer adjust to the seasons. They have harvested bucks at the very top of the mountain, as well as the valley floors.

The Kaibab National Forest is considered a great place to hunt mule deer for many reasons. It provides suitable habitat for mule deer, with a mix of forested areas, grasslands, and scrublands that offer abundant food sources like browse plants, shrubs that mule deer rely on for sustenance. The forest spans a range of altitudes, creating diverse terrain that mule deer love. Different elevations offer varied vegetation and cover options, giving hunters opportunities to find deer in different environments. The forest's management practices, such as controlled burns and habitat management, have positively impacted mule deer populations by promoting the growth of nutritious vegetation and creating favorable conditions for the deer.

The Kaibab National Forest is known for its stunning landscapes and natural beauty. Hunting in such a picturesque environment makes the overall experience for clients one to remember!
