Unit 5A in northern New Mexico is a great hunting destination, featuring diverse terrain and abundant wildlife. The unit regularly produces 260–320+ class mature bulls. The terrain consists of large flats broken by eroded streambeds, ridges, rolling hills, sage brushes, open meadows and pinion-juniper foothills at elevations between 6,900–7,400 feet which offer perfect big game habitats. These leases are regularly maintained to ensure that game stay on the property. Our private land hunting properties receive year-round habitat management including water source development and maintenance, native forage restoration, and other land stewardship practices specifically designed to support healthy wildlife populations. Hunters/guests will arrive no earlier than noon the day before hunt starts and depart in the morning after hunt has ended. The hunt is considered over when:1. Hunter(s) fill(s) tag(s), 2. Agreed hunting days have ended, or 3.Draws blood (even if game is not located, we will put forth our best effort to locate wounded game. Clean miss=hunt on). Call or text for more information or details.
