DESCRIPTION:

Moose season is from September 1-20 in this Game Management Unit. This area has a moderate population of Moose with very good genetics. Since 2007, this outfit has averaged 85% success on bulls averaging over 60 inches with several in the 65-71 inch range. With several pilots and aircraft on-hand, this outfit has a constant, firm grasp of game populations and locations. Their policy is simple, if you are not seeing game, they move you to fresh ground. Once the moose is down, those same aircraft return with packers to make short work a big task.

Single-species Moose hunts last for 10 hunting days with a travel day on each end, totaling 12-13 days per hunt. Hunter wishing to harvest caribou or Grizzly should consider the longer 14 day combo.

Hunters fly in to Anchorage and catch a charter to base camp. Once at base camp all the flying to and from the field is handled by the outfitter.

Hunters looking for a bull moose or an excellent combo for caribou or grizzly bear should consider this hunt.
