DESCRIPTION:

This outfitter has over 300,000 acres of prime wilderness, pristine habitat for a wide assortment of trophy animals, including herds of elk, antelope, and mule deer. They offer first-rate guided elk hunts tailored for archery and rifle hunters. Unit 7 is know for its healthy elk population and its trophy bulls.

They offer both lodge based and wall tent style camps. The lodge based hunt is less physically demanding as there are more roads and easy glassing hunters can access. At the lodge, each hunter will have their own private bedroom and bathroom. This is a great hunt for 300-350 class bulls. The wall tent camp is more physically demanding as it is in a remote area with less roads and rougher terrain. Each client will have their own wall tent in camp. This is a great hunt for 300-330 class bulls with a chance at bigger for those who are winning to hunt hard.

ARCHERY ELK HUNTS
Take advantage of warmer temps and beautiful fall colors during archery season which opens is the month of September. Their guides will lead you into the backcountry for an active hunt where bull elk can be heard bugling during the rut. To help insure your elk hunt is of the highest of quality, they keep their archery groups small and are led by trained guides. You will head out early from the lodge and into the mountains to be surrounded by bugles and the sounds of the rut. The guides will field-dress your kill and pack it out for you after the hunt is over.

RIFLE ELK HUNTS
The breeding season for elk lasts through the fall, long enough for rifle season to begin in October. Rifle bull elk season continues through the third week of November. Snow may be falling by the time you set out from the warm lodge into the mountains, so check our gear list and be prepared. Hunters will enjoy the mountains, scenery, and abundance of elk and relish returning to camp for a home-cooked western-style meal even more.
