DESCRIPTION:

This outfitter offers first class waterfowl hunting in the prairie pothole region of northwest Saskatchewan, which is the home to millions of migrating waterfowl, where you will target multiple species of ducks and geese just coming off of the breeding grounds. Limits are extremely liberal with the ability to take 8 ducks and 8 dark geese a day. If the snow geese are in, an additional 20 birds can be harvested. The outfitter and his guides have had the pleasure of growing up learning and hunting this region for more than 25 years. With such a large land base and timeless hours spent hunting it, your hosts possess a great knowledge and passion for the exciting sport. As a result of successful hunting seasons year after year, this outfitter has seen their company flourish with repeat customers due to its successful hunts, top of the line equipment, and great accommodations.

LODGING
Lodging is an elegant executive cabin that boasts numerous amenities that have been recently renovated; such as custom designed kitchen with granite counter tops equipped with stainless steel fridge, stove, dishwasher, custom granite island with bar area, large wood burning fireplace, hot tub off deck, full main floor bath and ¾ ensuite. All areas in the cabin have vaulted ceiling with cedar wood finish that illuminates a rustic appearance with full modern amenities and large number of rake head windows with beautiful views of the lake. This is the perfect place for relaxing and reminiscing after an excellent day of hunting. Also available is a brand new loft located next to the main lodge. The loft has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with an open floor plan. The loft is nicely decorated with an electric fireplace, tv, dvd player and it has a 2 tier deck with a beautiful view of Murray Lake.

MEALS
Meals are provided in the late morning and evening after each hunt. Meals are provided by a catered cook who will come to the lodge and cook an excellent homemade meal.

GETTING THERE
Clients will fly to Saskatoon International Airport which is 70 minutes from the lodge. From there clients will need to rent a car and drive to the lodge.

WHAT TO BRING:
Shotgun
2 Boxes of Steel or Non-toxic Shells per day maximum 200 rounds can be imported (Shells are available for purchase)
Essentials (in addition to your regular bird hunting )
Camouflage
White coveralls for snow/speck hunting. (Cheap oversized TYVEK coveralls work well)
Snow/Canada/Speck goose and duck calls
Face Masks – Bring both white and camouflage face masks.
Waders
Rain Gear
Cooler to bring birds back.

FIREARMS
Outfitter does have firearms to rent or you can bring your own. You will need to register your firearm at Canadian Customs for a fee of $35 Canadian dollars for form that holds 3 firearms. (Handguns are strictly prohibited from Canada) We suggest you download and fill out the Non-resident Firearm Declaration form (don't sign) prior to arrival. They will charge you when they process your form at the border.
