ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA-Endorsed Outfitter has been operating for more than thirty-four years in Wyoming, serving hunters and other outdoor travelers alike. Alongside the hunting, the operation handles fishing, horseback riding, camping, bird watching, and photography, which makes it workable for families and for hunters bringing along people who are not hunting. The species list covers mule deer, elk, Shiras moose, antelope, black bear, and mountain lion, all pursued on fair-chase terms. The camps are run to a high standard and the guides are experienced and know their country. What has kept this operation going for three decades is a combination of that attention to detail and a real respect for the ground and the animals on it.

HUNT DETAILS:
These hunts take place in western Wyoming, in the heart of Region G, an area with a long-standing reputation for producing some of the best mule deer in the state. This outfitter holds permits for several of the stronger locations within the region, which means access to ground that sees limited pressure. The country is high mountain terrain, and hunting it comes down to glassing, patience, and covering the right basins rather than the most. Guides spend countless days scouting the mountains to find trophy-class bucks, then keep watching those specific deer to learn their patterns before a hunter ever arrives. The outfitter lives near the South camp and scouts that country all summer, which is a real advantage for hunters based there. Camps are run with only a few hunters at a time, and in some cases just one or two for an entire week, which allows a hunt to be built around a particular buck rather than shared attention.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Three types of camp are available. Backcountry wall tent camps are reached on horseback for hunters wanting a true wilderness experience, a drive-to wall tent camp offers the same style without the ride, and a house-based camp gives the most comfort along with access to private land. All guided hunts include meals, lodging, and transportation during the stay, so nothing has to be arranged separately. The choice comes down to how much comfort a hunter wants and what their body can handle, since the horseback camps ask considerably more than the drive-to options. Every setup is organized and staffed so hunters are looked after from arrival through departure.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Licenses for all seasons and hunts in Wyoming are allocated through the state draw. Each unit and season require different numbers of preference points to draw a license. Huntin' Fool License Application Service will help you apply at the time of application.
