HUNT DETAILS:
These elk hunts take place in northern Utah on a pair of private CWMU properties, both made up of prime elk habitat. Because the ground is private and managed, the elk on it see very little pressure, and that shows in how they behave and where they can be found. Elevation runs from six thousand to roughly seventy-eight hundred feet, and the country is a mix of open ground and timbered draws. That combination suits spot and stalk hunting well, since bulls can be located from a distance in the open and then approached using the timber for cover. Guides know both properties well. Hunters can expect to hear bulls bugling nearly every day, which makes for an active hunt rather than a quiet one. Opportunity is high on these properties, and the hunting is more enjoyable than punishing, which makes it a good fit for hunters who want elk action without a brutal week.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
