This opportunity also provides a variety of opportunities beyond the helicopter hog and predator hunting. After the heli-hunting is completed, you can also take advantage of the opportunity to predator hunt. The evenings and the mornings are the best time to do this, and there's no shortage of predators. You will have the opportunity to do some predator calling and hunt both coyote's and bobcat's. You will also have the opportunity of hunting during the night with thermal scoped rifles for both wild boars/hogs, and predators. This is 100% legal in Texas, and the amount of game to hunt at night is off-the-charts.
During the day, fishing on their private ponds is also available. They know which methods work best, along with the proper gear/tackle, bait, and/or lures that produce the best success. Communicate with the outfitter prior to your trip for more details on what they may suggest you bring with you.
The family run operation is a working cattle ranch that began in 1900. The family runs the ranch and the hunting operation, which provides opportunities to hunt various species that include whitetail, aoudad, antelope, turkey, hogs, and predators. During your stay they will accommodate you with a beautiful new cabin/ranch house with full amenities. They have packages to fit most anyone's budget or interest.
The newly remodeled lodging comfortably sleeps 9 guests. They pride themselves on great service, and also on making great home cooked meals to make all of their clients feel right at home! The lodge has direc-tv if you want to stay inside and relax, and if you want to be out and about, the lodge sits on a beautiful 25 acre reservoir/pond. The lodge is frequented by lots of wildlife including rabbits and quail as well. Their goal is to make every facet of your hunt be the best it can be!
GUNS:
AR-15 rifles and/or shotguns and ammo can be provided. For certain events that the outfitter does throughout the year, gun and ammo are provided. Guns with brass catchers are required for rifles. If you have a rifle that works with the brass catchers the outfitter provides, you are more than welcome to bring your own gun. Otherwise, you can rent a rifle from the outfitter for a daily rental fee of $25.00. The outfitter will also have ammo to purchase on site.
