Eastern Oregon Turkey Hunt

DESCRIPTION:

This hunt is located on a 150,000 acre private ranch in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Mountain Range in Eastern Oregon, where two different species of turkey can be found, the Merriam's turkey and Rio Grande turkey. This hunt is sold per day with the option of self-guided or guided. Cost for unguided hunt is $500 per day with a cost of $650 for guided. Birds are constantly scouted and can be hunted in either creek bottoms or in the timber. There are blinds already set up in several spots. The maximum number of hunters is 3 per day.

Hunters also have the option of booking a 2 day (evening, full day, morning hunt) for two birds for $1600 including lodging. Meals are not included but can be added on for $250 a day per person. Note: Hunters may not take two birds in the same day in Oregon. Tags are sold over-the-counter.

LODGING
Guests can stay in a renovated farm house that sleeps up to 8 people at a cost of $225 per night or stay in the town of Pendleton Oregon which has multiple hotels/motels and is approximately 20 minutes from the ranch.

MEALS
Meals are not included but for an additional $250 per day meals can be arranged, which include breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

GETTING THERE
Clients who fly into the area will fly into Pasco Washington where they will need to rent a vehicle and drive approximately one hour to camp. Clients can also fly into Pendleton but they will need to fly from Portland to fly directly into Pendleton.
