ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This family-owned and operated outfitter has been providing quality hunting experiences since 2011, built around private-land access, personal service, and a strong focus on client success. The operation was founded through a passion for hunting, conservation, and helping others experience memorable days in the field.
The outfitter keeps camps small and intentionally limits the number of hunts offered each season in order to reduce hunting pressure and provide each client with a more personal, authentic experience. Their approach is centered on well-managed private properties, strong guide involvement, and creating a comfortable, at-home atmosphere for every hunter.
The team is made up of experienced hunters and conservation-minded guides who take pride in building long-term relationships with clients. Many hunters return season after season because of the combination of quality hunting, friendly hospitality, and the outfit’s commitment to doing everything possible to help clients have a successful and enjoyable hunt.
HUNT DETAILS:
These Maryland whitetail hunts take place on private land across multiple areas of the state. Properties vary from agricultural ground and crop fields to marsh edges, pine thickets, mature timber, and smaller wooded blocks. Each property is monitored and managed specifically for wildlife, with hunting pressure kept to a minimum throughout the season.
Whitetail hunts are conducted from tree stands or blinds, with archery, muzzleloader, and firearm opportunities available depending on season dates. Seasons can run through September, October, November, December, and January, giving hunters the option to hunt early-season patterns, rut activity, or later-season food source movement.
Hunters can generally expect to see approximately 5–10 or more whitetails per hunting day, depending heavily on weather, movement, pressure, and time of season. Trophy quality is considered strong for the area, and the outfitter’s minimum harvest standard is an 8-point buck or better, or a mature buck estimated at 3 1/2 years of age or older. Hunts include one whitetail buck, with no does included.
All hunts are conducted on private land with no public land hunting. The terrain is generally easy, with most hunting taking place around sea level. Archery shot opportunities are typically expected from 20–50 yards, while firearm shots may range from 20–300 yards depending on the setup and property.
A typical day begins with a light breakfast before hunters head to the stand or blind prior to daylight. Most hunts are conducted from morning until dark, with a bag lunch provided in the field. After a full day of hunting, hunters return to camp for a warm dinner each evening.
If a hunter wounds an animal and blood is drawn, that animal is considered the hunter’s harvested animal. The guide team will make every effort possible to recover wounded game. If a client tags out early, the outfitter will help quarter the meat, cape the animal, and prepare the trophy for a taxidermist. For hunters traveling across state lines, all meat must be deboned, which the outfitter will assist with. A local taxidermist can also be arranged if needed.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Whitetail hunts include lodging and basic meals. Lodging may vary depending on the specific camp and hunting area used during the trip. Some hunts are based out of the outfitter’s lodge, while others may use quality rental homes located near the hunting areas. The goal is to keep hunters comfortable, close to the hunting properties, and well taken care of throughout the trip.
Meals generally include a light breakfast, sandwich-style bag lunches for the field, and a warm dinner each evening. Occupancy details may vary based on the house, camp, group size, and hunting area, but the outfitter can accommodate most single hunters, couples, or groups with advance planning.
Hunters should plan to arrive anytime after 3:00 PM the day before the scheduled hunt begins. Departure is typically after the evening hunt on the final hunting day unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Additional hunting days may be available if scheduling allows.
Clients are responsible for their own travel, rental vehicle, license, tags, personal hunting equipment, weapon of choice, comfortable boots, and any travel-related expenses. Airport pickup is not included but may be arranged for an additional fee. Common airport options include Salisbury Regional Airport, BWI, and Philadelphia.
Before or after the hunt, clients may enjoy the area’s coastal attractions, fishing charters, seafood restaurants, waterfowl hunting opportunities, or additional hunting options if availability allows.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Maryland whitetail tags are available over the counter. Nonresident hunters are responsible for purchasing the proper nonresident hunting license, which is currently listed at $160. Hunters participating in archery or muzzleloader seasons must also purchase the required archery or muzzleloader stamp, which are currently listed at $25 each.
Licenses, tags, and stamps are not included in the hunt price and may be purchased prior to arrival or upon arrival through the Maryland licensing system. Hunters should confirm all current license requirements, season dates, weapon-specific regulations, and tagging rules before their hunt.
All deposits and hunt payments are non-refundable. If a cancellation occurs, the outfitter may attempt to find another hunt opportunity within the same year or move the hunt one season forward when possible, but rescheduling is limited and subject to availability.
