HUNT DETAILS:
These spring and fall black bear hunts take place in beautiful Montana’s Paradise Valley, offering hunters an exciting spot-and-stalk style hunting experience in prime bear habitat. Hunts are conducted with experienced guides who know the area well and work hard to provide hunters with quality opportunities while exploring remote mountain terrain, open hillsides, and thick timber country known for healthy bear populations. Black bear licenses are available over the counter in both spring and fall, making these hunts an accessible option for hunters looking for a western bear adventure without the draw process. Depending on bear location and hunting conditions, accommodations will be based out of either a comfortable lodge or cabin, providing hunters with a relaxing place to return to after long days in the field. Meals are included throughout the hunt, and the outfitter also provides animal field care and extraction services for harvested bears. These hunts are a great fit for both experienced hunters and first-time bear hunters looking to experience Montana’s scenic wilderness and rich bear hunting opportunities. Expect early mornings and being comfortable on horses as this outfitter uses them frequently to cover ground quickly and spend less time hiking, and more time hunting.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Depending on the number of hunters and the style of hunt, accommodations may include a fully equipped lodge, their comfortable cabin, or a quality wall tent camp. Each option is set up to provide hunters with a warm, relaxing place to unwind after long days in the field. Breakfasts are typically kept light to help hunters get an early start each morning, while packed lunches are carried and eaten in the field throughout the day. Evenings end with hearty home-cooked dinners and a comfortable bed or cot to rest up for the next day’s hunt. Whether staying at the lodge, cabin, or wall tent camp, hunters can expect a comfortable stay, great meals, and great hospitality throughout the trip.
