These Gould's turkey hunts can be done on multiple managed ranches across Sonora. These private ranches consist of 1000's of acres of prime Gould's habitat. Some of the hunts are in the Northern parts of Sonora, where clients will fly into Arizona and cross the border by vehicle with the outfitter, and others are further South, arriving in Hermosillo, Mexico and hunting with an hour or so from there. Each hunt can be customized to what the hunter or group wants. Their guides are happy to accommodate archery or shotgun hunters, and the turkey season begins Mid-March and runs through the first part of June.

While some Gould’s tags are available in the states, most hunters travel to Mexico to fulfill the slam’s requirements. Upon completion and registration of the slam, the hunter receives a pin and certificate."
